MIUI 13 is the latest-generation of the MIUI version and the successor of MIUI 12 for Xiaomi Mi, Redmi, and Poco devices. Although the MIUI 13 is still due for the official release, we have managed to collect what it will bring along with it. These are purely based on leaks and rumors surfaced over the web. MIUI 13

MIUI 13 is already in development for a long time now. The Chinese smartphone giant has recently rolled out the MIUI 12.5 version which could be the final version before releasing the MIUI 13. The MIUI 13 will be based on Android 11 and will be released for major Xiaomi Mi, Redmi, and Poco devices.

MIUI 13 Release Date

MIUI 12 released back in April 2020 followed by the MIUI 12.5 update in December 2020. Following the trend, Xiaomi to release the MIUI 13 in Q2 2021. This bit of information comes from a senior moderator on Mi Community adding to its gravity. This means Xiaomi will schedule a global event between April and June 2021 to remove the covers off its latest OS.

That means the MIUI 13 China/Global Stable ROM update is not coming anything early than Q1 2021. Before the stable release, Xiaomi will roll out MIUI 13 beta updates for its eligible devices.

Recently, two of the Xiaomi devices have spotted running the MIUI 13. These are the Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 and Mi Note 11. This could be initial beta testing before the official release in June 2021.

MIUI 13 – Download

MIUI 13 update for Xiaomi devices will happen via OTA (Over-the-air). One can manually check for updates via Settings > About phone > System update > tap “Check for updates”. This is only possible after Xiaomi pushes the MIUI 13 OTA update. We’ll also update the article with download links for MIUI 13 Global Stable ROM and MIUI 13 China Stable ROM.
